I WONDER
Framed rock photograph with text below. Brown matte, black frame, professionally framed in museum fade-resistant ultra-clear glass.
19.25” x 16.25” - $250 + shipping (Reduced from $350 for quick sale)
Text: I wonder if rocks that are one color, one material, one ore, might be lonely. Do rocks mimic our social patterns? Are the colorful rocks a marriage of openness and willingness to be with others? Are the single colored rocks the too-proud-to-know-you-type? Are they afraid to let down their guard and melt with another? Are rocks of similar color and structure a ‘gang’ or ‘clique,’ safely huddling together? Are the groups of rocks that are all vastly different and yet harmoniously living together the most evolved; the enlightened ones?

WINTER TENDS TO BE
Nature photograph. Brown matte and black frame. Professionally framed with museum quality fade-resistant glass. 19.25” x 16.25”
$250 + shipping (reduced from $350 for quick sale)
Text: Winter tends to be a “blank slate” for people. They wait for the colors of spring and fall, the green of summer, and the activities of animals as nature wakes up. I find that if I remain open in the winter, trusting that nature is not at all “blank” (maybe just cleaner or simpler), there is magic around every corner. These twigs were laid down upon a quilt of snow as a stark juxtaposition of colors. The leaf that “mistakenly” happened into the photo transforms the twigs into a stark winter tree with a small bird chirping about. Two dimensions become closer to three. Stillness becomes closer to activity. The “blank slate” becomes a drawn upon natural masterpiece.
