32” wide x 24” tall. Canvas is ready to hang. This painting was created from a self-built diorama based on poetry. “Circus of the Elders” plays with the theme of age and wisdom. The “youth” below (represented by eggs), while in the spotlight, are still and gazing up to the “elders” above (represented by rocks). Although the elders are held by safety wires, they are still performing. Much can be learned from our elders. This is one of many pieces I’ve done related to widsom and age.
