I WONDER Framed Photograph with Text Below
19.25” wide X 16.25” tall. Framed rock photograph with text below. Brown matte, black frame, professionally framed in museum quality fade-resistant ultra-clear glass. This photo was taken in Ventura, California after I lined up rocks by color against a cloudy blue backdrop. Order out of chaos. a little family of rocks waiting to be pondered about.
Text: I wonder if rocks that are one color, one material, one ore, might be lonely. Do rocks mimic our social patterns? Are the colorful rocks a marriage of openness and willingness to be with others? Are the single colored rocks the too-proud-to-know-you-type? Are they afraid to let down their guard and melt with another? Are rocks of similar color and structure a ‘gang’ or ‘clique,’ safely huddling together? Are the groups of rocks that are all vastly different and yet harmoniously living together the most evolved; the enlightened ones?
